Introduction

The article starts with the following sentence.
In mathematics, computer science and physics, a deterministic system is a system in which no randomness is involved in the development of future states of the system.
In physics there are no processes with are strictly deterministic. There is always some form of randomness involved i.e. the fact that the evolution of a process cannot be described by mathematics.
A deterministic model will thus always produce the same output from a given starting condition or initial state.
That is true for a computer program, assuming that no random numbers are involved, but not for the evolution of any physical system. See above.

1. In physics

Physical laws that are described by differential equations represent deterministic systems, even though the state of the system at a given point in time may be difficult to describe explicitly.
Physical processes can only, to a certain degree, be described by differential equations. Part of the problem are the initial conditions and the parameters introduced.

2 In mathematics

The systems studied in chaos theory are deterministic.
Chaotic processes are non-deterministic. They belong to the class of stochastic processes.

Reflection 1 - Stochastic process versus deterministic process

All physical processes are stochastic processes. None are deterministic processes, that means none can accurately be decribed by differential equations i.e. mathematics in general. It is always an approximation. Always certain aspect are involved which cannot be included. An object is never round and nothing is always empty.

What is very important that the human capabilities to observe the reality are very limited, specific at the level of elementary particles. The Feynmann tries to describe what is happening, but the inner details are often observed. The importance is mostly that when a certain particle is not observed and it should, that there was an error in your observations.
To observe the reality is also difficult at large distances at the outskirts of the universe and beyond the visible universe.

In relation to this subject it is important to remark that any process is controlled by a law. Laws are descriptions of these processes and created by humans. They are approximations.
